Cedardale Site

This Talking Field is located in Cedardale, just south of the city of Mount Vernon.  The land, after being leased to local farmers in the area for many years, is presently owned and farmed by third-generation family member, Arlene Sundquist Empie. The farmland at this location has grown many crops since it was first cultivated in the earlier 20th century and is now in the process of transitioning to grow Lingonberries, a close relative of the cranberry and blueberry.
